I was told once by a friend to go where my clients are and I knew Hinsdale would just the right place.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I’m the first generation in the USA from Scotland and I have been married 31 years to my HS sweet heart.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I own Event Staffing by Paige and it scared me to death to start this business, so I challenged my fear and won!
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
The coffee at LaFortuna is my all time favorite.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I started June 15, 2017, so 5 solid years.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Glen, the taco guy who sets his restaurant up on Mondays and Thursdays. I love talking to him about all sorts of things. He is a very unique person for sure.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I’m going to seek out the Outlander Tour in Scotland 2022 and connect to my mothers’ side of the family.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
I rarely miss an episode of Dr. Phil. He knows a pancake has two sides and so does the story.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Wish for love and happiness. I know happiness is a choice.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
I want to be an Astrologist and help show this science to anyone who is curious enough inquire.
Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Hinsdale Hospital where my mother passed in 1983, the summer of the sweet 16th.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Teresa Caputo Long Island Medium so I could talk to my family who have crossed over We would have lunch at Graue Mill with a picnic charcuterie board..
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I consider Hinsdale a bedroom town like Mayberry. LOL.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I’ll be retired and living in a European city.
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I can speak spanish pretty darn good.
