I’m originally from Louisiana but moved to the Midwest to attend Notre Dame. I began my career as a software developer but eventually made the leap into marketing. During COVID, I stepped away from my role leading business development at an AI startup to homeschool my children. Once they returned to the classroom, I started BODY20, a boutique 1:1 personal training studio that uses Electro-Muscular Stimulation EMS to deliver the results of a 4–5 hour strength training workout in just 20 minutes. BODY20 helps all us busy parents reprioritize fitness in our lives!

I love to garden and have a big vegetable garden every summer. We always grow tomatoes and cucumbers, and each year the kids choose three or four fun new vegetables to try out. I also enjoy reading, and this summer, my oldest son, Robbie, and I are diving into some of the classic books I read in junior high. Coaching is another passion of mine—I’ve been a Jodie Harrison basketball coach for the past four years, and it’s been such a rewarding way to stay connected with my kids. With all their sports and activities, a lot of my free time is spent driving from one place to another or cheering from the sidelines.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My husband Erik and I have 4 children. Robbie 11, Thomas 8, Isabella 7 and Lucia 4

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
In 2023, I launched BODY20, just one year after turning 40 and welcoming my fourth child. Like many, I used to love going to the gym, but with my growing family and demanding job, time for fitness became nearly impossible. I found myself prioritizing everything else—my family, my career—leaving little room for self-care. As a result, I struggled to lose the baby weight and noticed my muscles fading. That’s when I discovered EMS training. EMS training deliver an incredible 36,000 muscle contractions in just 20 minutes, which is equivalent to spending 4-5 hours of strength training at the gym. I began incorporating it into my routine once a week, and within just 2 months, I lost 8 pounds and regained definition in my arms. It was a game-changer, and I realized this could be the solution for busy parents and professionals everywhere. BODY20’s 1:1 personal training sessions offer a way to reprioritize fitness into our lives without compromising precious time with family or work. I absolutely love how our workouts can benefit everyone! We track our members’ progress on an InBody machine and our trainers do progress reports every 6 weeks. It’s amazing to see how we can help fitness enthusiasts break through plateaus, golfers improve their swing speed, busy professionals build muscle and lose fat and help individuals recovering from injury or who unable to lift heavy weights safely build muscle.

The city is so vibrant and definitely has a soul—there’s an energy and charm that’s hard to describe. The architecture, the rich history, and the incredible food all make it such a special place.
