Chris Jakubiak founded Hustle Fitness Lincoln Park in 2011 after 10 years in the industry. His goal was to create a fitness atmosphere where everyone could feel supported and get results through fitness and nutrition programs, adapted to their individual needs.

At the age of 18, Chris began his fitness career coaching high school soccer and instructing youth sports camps. This continued into college where Chris played soccer and majored in exercise science. After college, Chris worked briefly as a PE teacher, managing classrooms of 50+ middle school students. He quickly learned that working in a school was not for him and decided to go into personal training.

A certified personal trainer since 2006, Chris received a BS in Physical Education/Exercise Science from Western Michigan University, and numerous certifications like NASM, ACE, ONNIT, Training For Warriors, and PNF Stretch.

Chris is also a black belt in multiple martial art forms and currently a practitioner and competitor in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He has trained fighters and professional athletes, but loves working with beginners and helping people discover a fitness routine that fits them.

Chris is a certified nutrition coach through Precision Nutrition. He chose PN for its practical and personal approach to nutrition coaching.
