My name is Stephanie. I’ve been a physical therapist for 10 years. I founded my own practice, Indepth Physical Therapy, because I wanted to create a practice that reimagined the possibilities of physical therapy. I find the human body amazing. I love figuring out what is contributing to pain and helping people feel better. My husband Patrick is my rock and always helps me feel better. We love new adventures, movies, and food. We spend a lot of time hiking at local forest preserves, watching movies, cooking in, and dining out. If we are home, you can bet that our kitty Lola is right there with us – whether she is tripping us in the kitchen or cuddling with us on the couch.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My husband Patrick and I live in Palos Hills with our kitty Lola. We both come from large families and enjoy spending time with them. Fortunately, many of our family members live in nearby suburbs, so we get to see them quite a bit.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I am a physical therapist. I specialize in treating musculoskeletal and orthopedic issues and your everyday aches and pains. I founded my own practice, Indepth Physical Therapy, in 2018 to optimize patient care. I love helping people and making a positive difference in others’ lives. It is extremely rewarding to help people achieve their goals.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
I’m a big fan of Citrus Diner and Hinsdale Prime Steak. I’m still exploring restaurants in the area and am excited to try more!
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I’m new! I moved my physical therapy practice to Hinsdale from Chicago just a few months ago.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Bea Wolfe! She is one of the first people to welcome me to the Hinsdale community. I admire her worldliness.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I am counting down the days until our honeymoon next year. My husband Patrick and I planned a dream trip to Europe; neither of us have traveled outside of North America before. We will visit London and then hike and bike through Corsica and Sardinia. I am so excited for a new adventure, to explore other parts of the world, and for the food!

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
