I grew up in Naperville and have lived in this area for the past 21 years. I have been married for 25 years and have 3 wonderful children. I love playing tennis and golf. We have been members of Avenue Christian Church in Clarendon Hills for 12 years. I have been a part of Chicagoland Home Staging for the past eight years. I love going to work every day.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My husband grew up in Geneva and we met 24 years ago at an Elton John concert. My husband has been a sales executive in the radio industry for the past 34 years. Our daughter is a senior at University of Illinois-Champaign. Our oldest son is a junior at University of Wisconsin-Madison and our youngest son is a senior at Hinsdale South. We love traveling and just having fun together.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I was a stay-at-home mom for many years. I joined Chicagoland Home Staging in 2013 as a part-time stager. During my time there I have become more involved in the sales and marketing of our services. I still love meeting with the home owners and helping them prepare their home for an optimum selling experience

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
We love Za-Za’s in Clarendon Hills.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
Outside of a period of time of living in Chicago, I have been in the western suburbs my entire life

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Kyle Isabelli, our minister at Avenue Christian Church. He is an amazing young leader in our community.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
We would love to go back to Cape Town, South Africa. It was an amazing place.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Right now we are watching Fire Fly and love it.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Spend time doing what you love.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Visit every national park in the United States

Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Bob Seger always takes me back to my younger years.

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
The Clarendon Hills Hardware store brings me back to a good local business

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
I would have lunch with Oprah and ask her about all the people she has interviewed. I would take her to Country House in Clarendon Hills for the best burger in town.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Katherine Legge Memorial Park in Hinsdale. I have wonderful memeories going there with my grandmother.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I will still be working, and spending time with family and friends.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
My tennis partner and I won several local tennis tournaments.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Bali, Indonesia where I spent my honeymoon. It was breathtaking.

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
December is my favorite month. The holidays are all about family and that is what I love.

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A day at the spa.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My husband.

Q: What is one or two of your favorite smells?
I love the smell of the Iris flower. I was in my wedding bouquet.

Q: Finally, what 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
Comfort, family and clean.
